Is this the official SHSAT?
No. Koi Prep is independent and not affiliated with the NYC Department of Education. Our questions are original and written to the published 2026 format.
Is it updated for the fall 2026 changes?
Yes: adaptive practice, 50 + 50 questions, the no-going-back rules and the new question types.
My child is in 9th grade.
The 9th-grade test covers math through Grade 8. Grade 9 practice is coming later; the Grade 8 material still applies.
What devices work?
Any laptop or desktop with a current browser, and tablets for everyday practice. The real test is taken on a school computer, so use a keyboard and mouse for practice tests.
How do you handle my child's data?
A parent creates the account. We don't sell data or show ads in practice. Ad pixels never run inside student practice or test screens.
